The Norwegian Association of Disabled (NAD) is an independent human rights organisation of persons with disabilities. We work for equal rights and full participation for all.
Our vision is a society for all, where persons with disabilities have the same opportunity as other people to live according to their own wishes, abilities and interests.
NAD Uganda works to promote and support disability inclusion, and to build the capacity of persons with disabilities and their organisations so that they are empowered to promote their human rights.
NAD has worked for the rights of persons with disabilities in Norway since 1931, internationally since 1981, and in Uganda since 1987.
