IE evaluation in Zambia 2019

This review focused primarily on investigating various assumptions about inclusive education and teacher training that underpin the programme’s theory of change. This meant examining the effectiveness of training and support given to various stakeholders in six pilot schools. The review also looked more briefly at practical programme management issues. A mixture of document review, interviews and focus group discussions yielded extensive data. Quantitative and qualitative analysis revealed the main lessons learned, which can be used for sustaining, expanding and improving the programme in Zambia, and implementing a similar approach elsewhere.
