Chongwe community based inclusive development (CBID) network was officially launched,with a two day district CBID meeting held from 19-20 September 2022,at Chimuthuzi Lodge.

The district CBID meeting was attended by 27 participants drawn from various government line ministries such as; ministry of community development and social services, Agriculture, livestock and fisheries, local government, traditional and cultural affairs, water development ,information, OPDs  ,PWDs and civil society.

 

The meeting went a long way in addressing issues of CBID, networking and collaboration in the district. Mapping of the district CBID status was also done using a CBR status mapping tool. The findings will provide baseline information about the CBID status of Chongwe across all the matrix components and elements, on which current and future CBID work will build. In a vote of thanks at the close of the meeting a participant representative did not hid her appreciation of the meeting
