The Skills for Resilience project is coordinated by NAD in partnership with The Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training Authority of Malawi (TEVETA). TEVETA is implementing the project and supervising all training sessions.

Community Savings and Investment Promotion (COMSIP) is our commercial partner and essential in the Skills for Resilience project. They train and educate the farmers on how to increase their income through saving, loans, entrepreneurship and access to markets.

The project is guided by an Expert Advisory Committee, which includes representatives from the project partners, research institutions and the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development.

In addition to the three main partners, NAD, TEVETA and COMSIP, the project works with the relevant ministries, the LUANAR University and several civil society organisations and non-governmental organisations who contribute to the project as external advisors and members of the Expert Advisory Committee. They represent valuable skills and networks for the project and among these are the National Smallholder Farmers’ Association of Malawi (NASFAM), the Malawi Council of the Handicapped (MACOHA), and Find your Feet.

The Skills for Resilience project builds on existing structures and facilitates lasting cooperation between project stakeholders.
